Frequently Asked Questions

Here are answers to commonly asked questions by patients seeking treatment with Skin Rejuvenation.

  • Can PRF fix all dark circles?
It can help circles caused by thin skin and shadows. Circles caused by brown pigment often respond better to a peel or brightening treatment. We check which type you have.
  • Can acne scars be removed completely?
No treatment removes scars entirely. A good course usually makes them much less visible for many patients, the difference between thinking about them daily and forgetting they are there.
  • How is RF microneedling different from regular microneedling?
Traditional microneedling uses controlled microinjury to stimulate collagen production. RF microneedling adds radiofrequency energy beneath the skin, allowing treatment of deeper tissue. This makes it particularly useful for concerns such as skin laxity, deeper wrinkles, acne scars, and texture.
  • Who is a good candidate for exosome therapy?
Exosome therapy is a great option for adults seeking overall skin quality improvement or support after collagen-stimulating procedures. It may be helpful for concerns such as dullness, texture changes, fine lines, or post-procedure recovery support.

It may not be appropriate for people who are pregnant, breastfeeding, immunocompromised, or have active infections or skin cancers in the treatment area. A consultation determines the best and safest option for you.
  • How is this different from RF microneedling?
RF microneedling adds radiofrequency heat for tightening. Medical microneedling has no heat and is often the better choice when the goal is texture, pores or scarring.
  • Which peel is best for aging skin?
For fine lines, sun damage and dullness, a medium-depth resurfacing peel or a series of light brightening peels is often the best fit. If loose skin is the concern, a peel is the wrong tool – see RF microneedling.
