Here are answers to commonly asked questions by patients seeking treatment with Skin Rejuvenation.
Does it hurt?
Numbing cream is applied first. Most patients feel warmth and pressure rather than pain. The neck and jawline can be more sensitive than the cheeks.
How much downtime is there?
Usually redness and mild swelling for 1–3 days, similar to a sunburn. Many patients return to normal activity the next day.
Will I actually peel?
Light peels often cause little visible peeling. Medium peels usually do, for several days. We tell you what to expect before we start.
Is it an injection?
No. The exosome serum is applied to the skin immediately after microneedling, as part of the same visit.
Can you lift my brows without surgery?
Often, yes. A few units of wrinkle relaxer in the muscles that pull the brow down can give a subtle lift. Combined with RF microneedling on the forehead the effect is usually stronger.
Is treatment safe for darker skin?
Microneedling and RF microneedling can be used across a broad range of skin types, and peels are chosen with extra care for deeper skin tones. Suitability is decided at your assessment.
