Frequently Asked Questions

Here are answers to commonly asked questions by patients seeking treatment with Skin Rejuvenation.

  • How many treatments will I need?
This depends on your goals and skin concerns. Many patients see visible improvement after one treatment, but a series of 3–4 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart provides the best collagen-stimulating results. Acne scarring or deeper lines may require additional sessions.

Your provider will create a personalized plan during your consultation.
  • What does RF microneedling do?
It combines ultrafine needles with radiofrequency heat. The needles trigger your skin's repair response and the heat encourages existing collagen to contract and new collagen to form. Over the following months, skin typically becomes firmer, smoother and more even.
  • Who is a good candidate?
Adults seeking overall skin quality improvement or support after collagen-stimulating procedures. Not appropriate during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with active infections, or with skin cancers in the treatment area. Our physician confirms suitability at your consultation.
  • Can I have this instead of filler?
They do different jobs. PRF supports skin quality; filler adds volume. Some patients use PRF first and find they want less filler afterwards.
  • How much downtime will I have?
Downtime depends on the treatment chosen. Some rejuvenation treatments have no downtime at all, while deeper corrective options may involve a few days of redness or flaking.

We review expected healing time before treatment so you can plan around work, events, and travel. Our goal is to match your results goals with your lifestyle and schedule.
  • Which peel is best for aging skin?
For fine lines, sun damage and dullness, a medium-depth resurfacing peel or a series of light brightening peels is often the best fit. If loose skin is the concern, a peel is the wrong tool – see RF microneedling.
