Frequently Asked Questions

Here are answers to commonly asked questions by patients seeking treatment with Skin Rejuvenation.

  • How much downtime should I expect?
Downtime is minimal. Most patients experience:

    • redness similar to a sunburn for 24–48 hours

    • mild dryness or flaking as the skin renews

Makeup can usually be worn the next day, and most normal activities can be resumed the same day. We provide simple aftercare instructions to support healing.
  • Do you treat the neck?
Yes. RF microneedling for crepey skin and wrinkle relaxers for neck bands are both options.
  • What are exosomes?
Tiny particles that cells use to send signals to each other. They carry proteins and growth factors, including signals linked to repair, inflammation and collagen production.
  • PRF or filler under the eyes?
Filler gives an immediate result and is best for true hollows. PRF works gradually and is often the better choice for dark circles, thin skin and mild hollowness. Some patients do PRF first and add a little filler later.
  • Does it hurt?
Numbing cream is applied first. Most patients feel warmth and pressure rather than pain. The neck and jawline can be more sensitive than the cheeks.
  • How much downtime is there?
Usually redness and mild swelling for 1–3 days, similar to a sunburn. Many patients return to normal activity the next day.
